What you'll do:


As Channel Manager Functional Dairy Beverage based in Ho Chi Minh, you will be entrusted with overseeing distributor networks throughout southern Vietnam. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing robust sales strategies tailored to local market needs while maintaining close communication with both internal teams and external partners. You will spend approximately half your time engaging directly in the field—building rapport with distributors, identifying new business avenues, supporting trade promotions—and the other half collaborating from the office on planning initiatives, analysing data trends, preparing reports for senior management, and coordinating cross-functional projects. Success in this position requires you to be proactive in nurturing relationships, responsive to market changes, attentive to detail when monitoring KPIs or investment efficiency, and enthusiastic about sharing knowledge with others. Your ability to connect teams together will be instrumental in achieving commercial targets while upholding the organisation’s mission of delivering health through food.

* Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and channel dynamics in order to identify new growth opportunities for the functional dairy beverage portfolio.
* Identify and pursue new business prospects by expanding the customer base across diverse markets within southern Vietnam.
* Collaborate closely with distributors to plan and execute impactful trade promotions, product launches, and channel development initiatives.
* Provide ongoing training and support to distributor teams aimed at enhancing their product knowledge and sales capabilities.
* Prepare detailed sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses for senior management review to inform strategic decision-making.
* Monitor distributor key performance indicators such as sales volume, inventory levels, coverage, and execution standards; provide regular feedback for continuous improvement.
* Lead meetings with key stakeholders including JBP, Demand Planning, Topline functions; facilitate strategic discussions that drive consensus.
* Coordinate with core sales teams to determine optimal routes to market that balance sales growth with cost efficiency.
* Work collaboratively with internal departments such as marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless operations and outstanding customer satisfaction.
* Ensure all trade investments are managed efficiently and effectively in line with company policies.
* Maintain strict compliance with organisational policies, pricing structures, and contractual agreements.

In the Channel Manager Functional Dairy Beverage role you will bring proven expertise in managing distributor networks within fast-moving consumer goods or nutrition environments. Your background should include hands-on experience developing strategic sales plans tailored for local markets as well as implementing effective trade marketing campaigns. You are comfortable navigating complex stakeholder landscapes—whether facilitating discussions between demand planning teams or negotiating terms with external partners—and thrive when given responsibility for both field-based relationship building and office-based analysis. Your strong interpersonal skills enable you to foster trust among colleagues while providing thoughtful guidance during training sessions or performance reviews. A willingness to travel regularly is essential for staying connected with distributors on the ground; equally important is your attention to detail when preparing forecasts or monitoring investment efficiency. * Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Sales Management or Trade-related disciplines which demonstrates your commitment to academic excellence.
* Minimum five years’ experience in sales or distributor/channel management roles where you have consistently delivered results against commercial targets.
* Deep understanding of sales processes including trade marketing principles as well as distributor management best practices within FMCG or Nutrition sectors.
* Proven track record of managing complex sales operations while building dependable relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Experience analysing market trends and competitor activity which enables you to identify actionable growth opportunities quickly.
* Ability to travel extensively (up to 50%) across southern Vietnam for field visits while balancing office-based planning responsibilities effectively.
* Excellent interpersonal skills that allow you to collaborate seamlessly across multifunctional teams including marketing, supply chain, finance and core sales units.
* Strong presentation skills enabling you to prepare clear reports for senior management as well as lead productive meetings with key stakeholders.
* Demonstrated sensitivity towards compliance requirements related to pricing structures or contractual agreements within regulated industries.
