A rapidly expanding logistics company is looking for a talented Commercial Director in Vietnam to take on a newly created role. In this job, you will lead, develop and control the business and operations at the country-level to achieve short and long-term financial and operating objectives (profitability, revenue, productivity, market share) in line with the company strategy.

About the Managing Director Role:

In this business critical role you will be responsible for defining the broad business development strategy, delivering the highest quality service alongside four other division managers. You will also take the lead providing direction to all activities, including P&L management and commercial divisions .

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the country commercial strategy in achieving business outcomes
• Establish and identify new markets and channels in Viet Nam
• Identify potential and build relationships with relevant interfaces
• Ensure profitable business growth in current verticals and organic growth
• Develop and maintain understanding of customers/stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and business is increased
• Lead and coordinate proposal preparations in close co-operation with key stakeholders within the organisation for on time and high quality submissions
• Timely preparation and submission of relevant commercial reports
• Responsible to train, coach and manage the team

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 8- 10 years' total working experience
• Past working experience in 3PL/Warehousing and shipping
• Analytical and able to articulate solutions to internal and external customers
• Successful track record in leadership, negotiations, supervision
