Specification Engineer

One of the biggest MNC companies is looking for a Specification Engineer in Ho Chi Minh. In this job, you will work with team and be responsible for all activities to achieve the target.

About the Specification Engineer Role:

In this role you will be responsible for activities for Vietnam market. You will also plan, conduct and evaluate all project field sales activities in order to promote and support the company brand name in the assigned market and key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify key developers, architects, consultants, engineers for key projects in construction industry and market segments (commercial, industrials, infrastructure, residentials) related to company product portfolio
• Plan and strategize for effective specification works based on project requirement, expected performance and budgeting, and defence spec works against competition
• Carry out product presentations to architects, consultants, engineers, & developers
• Establish strong relationships and maintain regular visits with key specifiers and identify continuous leads for specification works and defence specification work done
• Work closely with Sales Manager to organise and participate in product workshops/ seminars/ roadshows where required and necessary
• Continuous efforts in building up specification pipeline wealth to meet the given target and update effective progress of specification works using given template/ tools
• Always proactive in continuous learning of product information and technical detailing in order to provide technical solutions to consultants, architects, and engineers
• Resourceful in knowing market trends and upcoming key projects, and market intelligence
• Participate in site mock-up and testing as and when required

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• University graduation preferable Chemical/ Civil Engineering/Architects
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Minimum two years of experience in specification works in construction industries
• Speak and write fluently in English and Vietnamese - presentation and public speaking abilities in both of English and Vietnamese
• Able to work as a team and independently
• Energetic and willing to travel
• Result oriented
