About the job:

Our client, a global manufacturing SaaS startup is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join and lead their field sales team for a B2B SaaS Product. This role offers the opportunity to cover business development in the early phase and strategy and organisation planning in the longer term, with the aim of achieving rapid market growth in the Vietnam and ASEAN market.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of transforming our client's B2B SaaS product presence in Vietnam before expanding into other ASEAN markets. You will set ambitious goals for your team, coordinate projects to meet tight deadlines, and ensure all policies are adhered to. Your role will involve producing innovative ideas for promotional events, monitoring progress, submitting performance reports, and fostering an open communication environment within your team. Your ability to research new methods to increase customer engagement will be crucial in this role.

  • Lead and expand a field sales team for the B2B SaaS product.
  • Cover business development role in early phase and strategy and organisation planning in longer terms.
  • Set and execute team goals and metrics (KGI/KPI)
  • Suggest and implement improvements in the inside sales administration process.
  • Coordinate department projects to meet tight deadlines.
  • Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement.
  • Ensure sales, finance, and legal policies and procedures are met.
  • Build an open-communication environment for your team.
  • Idea proposing and promotional events organizing.
  • Monitor progress and submit performance report.
  • Plan and implement strategies to scale business BU in ASEAN Market with Head of APAC.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager position brings a wealth of field sales experience, particularly within B2B software sales. You possess hands-on experience with CRM software and MS Excel, coupled with an in-depth understanding of the sales administration process. Your excellent interpersonal skills make you a natural leader who can manage a team effectively. With strong analytical and organisational skills, you are adept at problem-solving and have a knack for creative thinking. Your exquisite communication skills will be key in fostering an open and supportive team environment.

  • Proven track record as field sales representative, especially in B2B Software sales.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software and MS Excel.
  • In-depth understanding of the sales administration process.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical, leadership and organisational skills.
  • Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude.
  • Analytical and creative thinking skills.
  • Professional English skills in verbal and written.
  • Experience in business development, consulting, or digital transformation project.
  • Experience in manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Speaking Japanese is a plus.
