What you'll do:

As a Sales and Application Engineer, your role will be pivotal in driving our client's sales initiatives. You'll be entrusted with diverse responsibilities such as creating retrofit sales opportunities, conducting on-site verification of warranty claims, undertaking spot measurements of HVACR systems, and supervising retrofit projects. Your ability to identify and cultivate new and existing sales opportunities will be key to meeting and exceeding company targets. Additionally, your role will involve managing, servicing, and expanding existing accounts with Contract Manufacturers while providing essential technical support during the sales cycle.

  • Identify and cultivate new and existing sales opportunities to meet and exceed company sales targets
  • Execute effective sales strategies, focusing primarily on retrofit sales in the assigned area
  • Monitor and oversee the sales process meticulously to successfully close deals
  • Foster strong working relationships with consultants and main contractors involved in projects
  • Manage, service, and expand existing accounts with Contract Manufacturers
  • Provide essential technical assistance to bolster customer confidence during the sales cycle
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for addressing technical queries promptly and ensuring timely resolutions

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales and Application Engineer role is a determined professional with a Diploma or Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics). It would be advantageous if you have 3 years of experience in the build environment and HVACR industries. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must for this role. You should be results-oriented with the ability to define problems, exercise sound judgment, and initiate alternative solutions independently. A collaborative approach to working effectively with others and ensuring timely completion and submission of quotes to customers is also essential.

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics)
  • Advantageous to possess 3 years of experience in the build environment and HVACR industries
