An exciting Sales Director job has just become available at one of the leading consumer electronics firms based in Ho Chi Minh City.
About the Sales Director role:
Reporting to Managing Director, you will assist the Managing Director in developing profitable sales for the company, by developing & executing both short and long term business plan and leading the sales team.You will manage a team of 35 team members including Kam, GT network per region and sales admin.
- To achieve sales and profit objectives by leading and motivating sales team to successfully execute the business plan
- Keep searching for new growth opportunities for the company in terms of channel and distribution
- Lead and manage dealers to make their performance in line with company’s strategy and objectives
- Maximise product assortment in respective customers
- Develop and implement Promotions with customers, coordinating with Marketing
- Develop a competitive sales organisation and grow next leaders of sales departments
- Build a best-in class and performance culture on sales forecast, sales results, sales trend, inventory, return, etc.
- Share market intelligence and business issues with relevant people (Management, Marketing, Sales, etc.) to contribute to company strategy and its execution
To succeed in the role, you must be able to manage a big team with direct reports with experience in our field.
- At least 10 years' experience in Consumer Electronics with Cookware (preferred or added advantage)
- Must have strong network and relationship with Electric Specialists in the North iePico, MediaMart, VHC, etc and the South – DMX, Nguyen Kim and CaoPhong; Supermarkets – Coopmart; Big C, MegaMart, Aeon and Lotte and also in the North LanChi
- Able to manage General Trade Distributors – and coach a team of GT sales reps that call on ‘Mama Papa’ stores, must be able to follow up on routing plan, number of calls, strike calls, Basic Call Plan
- Think strategically on accelerating growth plans – working with Marketing Dept to understand brand and product strategies, and executing them respectively with customers and channels
