An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Area Sales Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical company. This role offers the chance to lead and motivate a team of sales representatives, develop and implement strategic sales plans, and foster long-term relationships with key customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, expanding market share, and ensuring high customer satisfaction levels. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong leadership background, strategic thinking abilities, and a proven sales track record.

What you'll do:
As an Area Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead your team towards achieving set sales targets. You will be expected to develop effective sales strategies that not only meet but exceed these goals. Your leadership skills will be crucial in coaching and motivating your team of sales representatives. Additionally, you will identify new business opportunities by developing relationships with key healthcare professionals. Your ability to foster long-term relationships with customers will be instrumental in driving product awareness, loyalty, and ultimately, sales. Regular reporting on sales figures, market insights, and competitor activities will also fall under your purview.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve area sales targets
* Monitor and drive team performance to meet/exceed goals
* Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives
* Identify business opportunities and develop relationships with key healthcare professionals
* Foster long-term relationships with key customers to drive product awareness, loyalty, and sales
* Provide regular sales reports, market insights, and competitor activity analysis to senior management
What you bring:
* Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field
* 5+ years in pharmaceutical sales in MNC with 2-3 years in people management
* Proven sales track record
* Strong leadership skills
* Problem-solving skills
* Strategic thinking abilities
* Proficiency in English
