District Manager - Chemical (F&B segment)
Our client is seeking a District Manager to join their team in Ho Chi Minh. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and executing district sales plans, ensuring they align with overall division objectives. This role requires a balance of strong leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a positive team environment. * Lead and develop a team * Manage customer relationships * Contribute to financial objectives What you'll do: As a District Manager, your primary responsibility will be to provide leadership within your designated area. You will hire, train, manage and develop associates to ensure the highest level of performance. Your role will also involve maximising route productivity and managing customer relationships to facilitate the achievement of our client's financial objectives. You will support your team's success by providing necessary tools and resources, promoting safe work practices, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining a positive team environment. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing, servicing, and managing a territory of Food & Beverage accounts and distributors. * Provide area leadership by hiring, training, managing and developing associates. * Maximise route productivity, ensure quality service delivery, manage customer relationships. * Support associates' success by providing tools and resources, developing and coaching associates. * Promote safe work practices, ensure regulatory compliance. * Develop, service, and manage a territory of Food & Beverage accounts and distributors. * Work with Key Corporate Account to implement strategies and actions.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the District Manager position brings a wealth of experience in food, beverage or dairy processing/manufacturing industries or technical sales into manufacturing environments. With your BS/BA degree in a related field, you have developed strong problem-solving skills that allow you to effectively identify and resolve problems independently. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with both your team members and customers. You are able to prioritise multiple projects effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities. Your ability to work independently allows you to set your own schedule while still meeting all necessary deadlines.
- BS/BA degree in food or agricultural science, engineering, chemistry, biology or related field.
- 5-10 years’ experience in food, beverage or dairy processing/manufacturing industries or 5 years’ experience in technical sales into manufacturing environments.
- Ability to prioritise multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Ability to work independently and set own schedule.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand what the customer needs.
