A rapidly expanding animal nutrition company is looking for talented National Sales Manager in Ho Chi Minh City to take a business critical role. In this position, he or she will be responsible to elaborate strategy and to activate it in the country.

About the National Sales Manager Role:

In this business critical role you will be responsible for defining the broad business development, delivering the highest quality service alongside.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the P&L of pet food in Vietnam
  • Accountable to reach sales targets, shared and validated at the beginning of each year
  • Build and promote strong and long-lasting relationship with external customers either distributors as a priority and retailers
  • Insure payments and settlements from clients
  • Lead sales team by recruiting, training, coaching and rewarding
  • Identify, propose, make validated innovative and feasible solutions to reach targets
  • Plan supply and ensure continuity of products in the market
  • Interact together with the marketing team to elaborate sales and marketing actions within the agreed yearly budget
  • Work with different departments such as legal for contracts, purchasing for supply chain, production for product availability, HR for management of team and top management for reporting
  • Follow, align and report to the group managers in charge of the development of the range of products
  • Manage questions, inquiries, objections, claims and represents, protects the company against critics
  • Participate into seminars and other gathering related to his/her activity

To succeed in this role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior manager, across borders and internal matrix.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Marketing and Management with five to 10 years’ experience in the management of sales team in FMCG or pet food
  • Degree in nutrition or in veterinary medicine with similar five to 10 years’ experience in management
  • Must speak Vietnamese as native language and reasonable level of English
  • Good management & communication skills
  • Business orientation and good ability to calculate
