We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Excellence Manager for a leading pharmaceutical firm in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.
About the Sales Excellence Manager Role:
The Sales Excellence Manager will play a pivotal role in optimising the performance and effectiveness of our field sales force This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and monitor sales excellence initiatives that align with our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Head of Commercial Excellence to define and execute the sales excellence strategy in alignment with the overall business objectives
Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the capabilities of the field sales team, covering product knowledge, selling skills, compliance, and market dynamics
Analyse sales performance metrics, identify areas of improvement, and provide actionable insights to enhance individual and team performance
Work closely with the HR department to establish and maintain a robust sales competency framework, ensuring that recruitment, onboarding, and development efforts are aligned with the required skill sets
Champion the adoption and utilisation of sales tools and technologies, such as CRM systems, to streamline processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance overall sales efficiency
Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure seamless alignment between sales and marketing strategies, enabling effective communication of product messages and campaigns
Lead sales incentive programs, ensuring that compensation structures are motivating and in line with sales goals while adhering to regulatory and ethical guidelines
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the sales organisation by promoting knowledge sharing, best practice sharing, and regular feedback loops
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access, to ensure a unified approach to customer engagement and maximise business opportunities
Stay current with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights that inform strategic decision-making
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
Minimum three years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, sales management, or sales excellence roles
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations, including sales processes, customer engagement, and regulatory compliance
Proven track record of designing and delivering effective sales training programs
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales enablement technologies
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across various levels of the organisation
Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to prioritise, plan, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with experience leading teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, market trends, and competitive landscape
High ethical standards and commitment to compliance with industry regulations and company policies
