About the Sales Planning Manager Role:
In this business critical role you will be responsible for defining the broad business sections, delivering the highest quality service alongside.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing and enhancing the division's sales data capture system to fulfil all team data analysis requirements and reporting
Ensure the implementation of initiatives and the tracking and recording of sales KPIs
Conduct internal sales data analysis and market analysis, including market size, share opportunities, and competitor pricing
Manage and provide training to the Distributor and Wholesales Sales Administrator and Purchasing staff to ensure the accurate capture of data and maintenance of agreed stock levels
Facilitate effective integrated business planning by aligning the strategy by area and sales, incorporating a bottom-up demand forecast approach
Train and coach the sales team to improve their demand forecasting capabilities to meet monthly, annual, and 24-month Demand Forecast Accuracy KPIs
Transfer secondary sales to primary sales, categorised by distributor and area, and by SKUs
Lead and oversee all food service product supply issues in collaboration with the supply chain team, aiming to maximise returns and minimise losses for the division
Manage ageing stocks in both the company warehouse and with distributors
Support the channel team in expediting the arrival of new products to market and ensuring timely distribution to the market
Work closely with the Commercial Finance Business Partner and the team to ensure accurate monthly financial reporting and optimise cost benefits from the business continuity plan cycle to achieve financial targets
Lead and coach the sales-operation team members, devising and implementing development plans to ensure the delivery of top-tier performance
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Key Requirements:
At least five years of sales administration experience and two years of demand forecasting experience in the food service industry or with food companies dealing with imported chilled or frozen products
Proficient in planning and forecasting skills
Strong administration, communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within the food service team, supply chain, and finance functions
Strong commercial & financial acumen. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Fluent in spoken and written Vietnamese and English
