A global leading company is looking for a talented Commercial Manager – Pet Food to take a newly created role.
About the Commercial Manager Role:
In this business critical role you will be responsible for defining the broad business development, delivering the highest quality service alongside.
Key Responsibilities:
Build & develop customer network
Build mid & short-term business plan for three to five years
Collaborating with other departments to develop sales development plan through e-commerce platform and modern trade channels
Participate in new targeting projects to expand company’s business
Collaborate with other departments (Quality, Technical & Production) to develop product strategy that meets market trend and future development strategy
Execute the sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly targets
Develop new customers while maintain current customer portfolio
Manage sales budget effectively
Resolve customer complaints and propose constructive solutions according to customer’s demand
Manage overall product quality and stability
Collaborate effectively with other departments (quality, formulation, product, technical, etc.) to improve current products and develop new products
Work closely with management team to develop HR strategy for sales team
Handle overall sales recruitment activities
Provide training, coaching and development plans for sales team
Supervise overall effectiveness and performance of sales team
Manage overall assessment, feedback delivery, promotion, etc. activities
To succeed in this role, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and co-operatively with senior manager, across borders and internal matrix.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Animal Nutrition, Veterinary, Sciences with majoring in Biology, Food Technology, Pharmaceutical, Micro-biology, Food Engineering or Management
Have at least three years in management levels in pet food industry
Fluent in English
Proven knowledge and experience in marketing, digital marketing and trade marketing
Good at communication, influencing, negotiation, presentation, analytical, problem solving, conflict management, strategic thinking, results driven and people management skills
Fascinated by fast scalable business models, and you have already started building a track-record of businesses you have scaled
Think and act rationally and effectively, fact-based
Strong in strategic thinker, you can also execute
