What you'll do:

As a Regional Sales Manager - North, you will play a crucial role in propelling our client's business within the assigned territory. You will be responsible for crafting strategies that align with the company's vision, focusing particularly on direct sales to Key Account Customers/OEM customers. Your keen understanding of market trends will enable you to gather and analyse data on market development, future business opportunities and competition. Your strong leadership skills will be utilised as you ensure organisational efficiency, digital customer interaction and support automation processes.

  • Craft and execute strategies, business plan and activities for the dedicated territory in harmony with company strategy and vision.
  • Focus on Direct Sales strategy especially Key Account Customer/OEM customers.
  • Monitor the stock and monthly order plan from distributors.
  • Gather and analyse market development, future business, trends as well as competition.
  • Ensure effective sales process according to Sales Excellence approach.
  • Take charge of customer relationship management.
  • Implement efficient and effective pricing set up in the dedicated territory.
  • Share knowledge, learnings, and success cases across the organisation.
  • Be accountable for maintaining good quality of the order book and timely payments of all aftermarket customers in the territory.
  • Ensure people and talent development and manage succession planning.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Regional Sales Manager - North role brings a wealth of experience in leadership within the industrial product sales sector. You will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, with a Master’s degree in sales and marketing management being an added advantage. Your familiarity with CRM/C4C systems will be crucial in maximising communication and efficiency within your team. Your proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint will aid you in effectively managing your responsibilities.

  • 5+ years of leadership position experience in industrial product sales.
  • Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent. Master’s degree in sales and marketing management is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity using a CRM/C4C system to maximize communication and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong leadership skills with capability to adapt to a dynamic environment and drive change.
  • Ability to inspire and influence people in a matrix environment.
  • Strong customer focus and drive to discover and meet the needs of customers through innovation.
  • Self-motivated, demonstrating initiative to set priorities, work plan, and schedule to achieve goals.
  • Ability to actively engage with customers, internal team members, senior business managers, and group ownerships.
