Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Country Commercial Manager in the field of Crop Protection. This role is based in Vietnam and offers an exciting opportunity to spearhead business growth and establish market leadership within the agrochemical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic business plans, managing a high-performing sales team, and ensuring operational excellence.

What you'll do:

As a Country Commercial Manager - Crop Protection, your primary responsibility will be to drive business growth by developing and executing strategic plans that align with organisational goals. You will lead a high-performing sales team to deliver national sales targets, manage our channel partner network, and oversee key account relationships. Your role will also involve identifying opportunities for product improvement and working closely with customer marketing to define pricing strategies. Additionally, you will collaborate with Finance and Supply Chain teams to ensure the financial health of the business.

  • Develop and execute annual and medium-term strategies aligned with organisational goals.
  • Deliver national sales and gross profit targets through strong execution of portfolio strategies.
  • Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing sales team.
  • Manage and expand our channel partner network.
  • Oversee key account relationships and ensure consistent engagement with top customers.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for product improvement.
  • Jointly work with customer marketing to define pricing strategies, commercial policies, and customer value propositions.
  • Working with Finance and Supply Chain to ensure the financial health of the business.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Country Commercial Manager - Crop Protection role brings a wealth of experience in the agrochemical industry along with strong leadership skills. With at least 5 years of leadership experience in sales, you have proven expertise in strategy development, marketing, and GTM execution. Your excellent analytical abilities enable you to solve complex problems effectively while your strong management skills allow you to lead teams successfully. An agile mindset coupled with a focus on executional excellence makes you an ideal fit for this role.

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in agriculture. A master's degree in management is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in sales within the agrochemical/chemical industry.
  • Proven experience in strategy, marketing, and Go-To-Market (GTM) execution.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong management and leadership capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Agile and results-driven mindset.
  • Strong focus on executional excellence.
