This role offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact by developing and implementing sales plans, nurturing both new and existing customer relationships, and guiding a dedicated sales team towards achieving ambitious targets.

You will be at the heart of a supportive environment where your expertise in negotiation, communication, and coaching will be valued and encouraged. The company is committed to fostering professional growth, offering flexible working opportunities, and providing access to ongoing training. If you are passionate about the textile industry and eager to contribute to a collaborative workplace that values teamwork and knowledge sharing, this is your chance to thrive.

  • You will have the opportunity to lead a talented sales team within an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages personal and professional development through regular training opportunities.
  • The organisation places high value on relationship building, ensuring you can connect with customers and colleagues across departments to deliver outstanding results and foster business growth.
  • Flexible working opportunities are available, allowing you to balance your career ambitions with your personal commitments while contributing meaningfully to the company's success.

What you'll do:

As a Sales Manager in Viet Nam, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the sales department for knit fabric products. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve creating strategic sales plans that align with organisational goals while actively coaching your team members to reach their full potential. You will engage directly with customers —both new prospects and established partners — building lasting relationships that drive business growth. By collaborating across departments such as R&D and Production, you will ensure seamless delivery of samples and finished products. Your ability to solve problems quickly will be essential when addressing quality or delivery concerns. Regularly preparing operational reports will keep stakeholders informed of progress. Success in this role requires a commitment to teamwork, knowledge sharing, and supporting junior staff as they develop their skills within an inclusive environment.

  • Develop comprehensive sales plans and forecasts targeting specific customers and products in alignment with company strategy.
  • Lead, coach, and nurture the sales team—including associates and administrators—to implement plans effectively and achieve set targets.
  • Initiate contact with new customers by presenting the company’s capabilities and diverse range of knit fabric products.
  • Build new business opportunities by establishing strong relationships with both new and existing customers, gathering market intelligence to inform strategy.
  • Work closely with the Research & Development Team to ensure prompt delivery of samples tailored to customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with Production Teams—including Merchandisers and Quality Control—to guarantee timely delivery of products according to customer requirements.
  • Partner with Sales, R&D, Production, and mills to resolve challenges such as quality or delivery issues, ensuring smooth operations across departments.
  • Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, analyses, and reports covering departmental operations and finances.
  • Coach junior staff members to enhance their abilities, contribution, and understanding of company strategy, systems, policies, and values.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration within the team by encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.

What you bring:

To excel as a Sales Manager in Viet Nam, you will draw upon your extensive experience in textile sales—particularly within knit fabrics—to navigate complex market demands. Your proven track record demonstrates not only technical expertise but also an ability to communicate effectively across languages (English required; Chinese strongly preferred). You understand how important it is to work collaboratively within teams while nurturing junior staff through coaching. Your negotiation skills allow you to build rapport with customers from various backgrounds. You are detail-oriented when preparing operational reports that support strategic decisions. Above all, your proactive approach ensures challenges are addressed swiftly through cross-departmental cooperation.

  • You possess at least a diploma degree in any discipline which demonstrates your commitment to education.
  • You bring a minimum of five years’ experience as a Sales Executive within the textile industry, showcasing your deep understanding of market dynamics.
  • Your background includes hands-on experience specifically with knit fabric products—a crucial requirement for this position.
  • You have excellent negotiation skills that enable you to build trust-based relationships with customers while achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Your communication abilities are exceptional; you can convey ideas clearly both orally and in writing in English at a business level.
  • You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills that foster collaboration among team members from diverse backgrounds.
  • You are adept at coaching others; your ability to guide junior staff helps them grow professionally within the organisation.
  • You approach problem solving proactively—identifying issues early on and working collaboratively across departments to find solutions.
  • Chinese language proficiency is highly desirable as it enhances your ability to connect with international clients and partners.
  • You are comfortable preparing detailed financial statements and operational reports that inform decision-making processes.
