An Asian expanding consumer packaged goods provider is looking for a talented Head of Sales in Ho Chi Minh City to take full responsibility for their local expansion plan. You will set new footprint for their newly setup entity in this phrase of growth by leading the Sales function and accelerating sales growth in the rapidly growing market of Vietnam.
About the Head of Sales role:
Reporting to Regional Sales & Marketing director, the role needs strong leadership, entrepreneurial mindset, ability to multi-task and deliver results with limited resources while collaborating with the local country head and the region to manage all sales activities for domestic products to achieve company’s ambitious target growth.
- Direct and control sales team to drive sales fundamentals, to use effective promotional techniques, to enter new sales channels and therefore accelerate the sales revenue while maintaining the cost structure.
- Develop strong sales capability, build key customer relationships and manage distributor operations effectively.
- Design and implement strategic sales plan and expand company’s customer base
- Control overall administrating sales-related tasks, sales database, sales records for future reference
- Develop strong business relationships with vendors and clients
- Lead a team of sales programs, claim analysis and ensure all internal and external customer queries are appropriately reviewed, investigated and responded in the most economic, efficient, effective and professional manner
- Drive productivity, continuous service improvement and resources optimisation to improve costs and efficiency
- Any other tasks or assignment from reporting manager
To succeed in the Head of Sales job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively and possess a bachelor's degree.
- Bachelors Degree in Sales/Marketing and/or Business Administration or equivalent. Master degree is an added advantage
- With experience in FMCG MNC company is definitely an advantage
- At least 15 years professional experience in sales roles, such as field sales, trade marketing, customer account management etc.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate team, resolve conflicts, negotiation and customer service skills
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
- Supervisor skills, Communication, Leadership, Team Working
- Good command of spoken and written English and Vietnamese
