Head of Procurement

An exciting Head Procurement job has arisen in a leading F&B firm in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.

About the Head of Procurement Role:

In this position, you will be responsible for leading the team responsible for beverages, food, dry goods, services, capex, and sourcing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively cross functionally with marketing, product development, operations and finance on new product innovation as well as existing product portfolio on cost modelling and potential supply base while delivering the lowest possible total cost of goods
• Lead cost savings continuous improvement initiative to improve company COGS. Lead all RFP processes and provide final approval for the execution of new products
• Lead negotiations with suppliers and deliver best total value including quality, cost, service and access to innovation. These should include lead time, terms, MOQ’s and serve as the procurement and contract expert resource for assigned commodities.
• Drive product execution by ensuring timelines are met while maintaining constant 100% collaboration with CPG Sales, Marketing,Operations, Design, Product Development, Manufacturing, Finance and Logistics departments
• Manage supplier performance to maximise profitability and achieve financial objectives
• Perform market analysis, competitive shop and identify emerging trends

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Demonstrate extensive knowledge in all products for food & beverage retail industry
• Solid understanding of strategic sourcing and supply chain principles for QSR Multi-Site retail F&B chain
• Ability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced dynamic team environment 10 Years procurement experience
• English proficiency required
• Exposure to international supplier base
