About the Purchasing Manager Role:

This experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team and help us optimise our supply chain operations, reduce costs, and maintain the highest quality standards in our food production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to ensure the uninterrupted supply of raw materials and packaging components while optimising costs
• Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to maintain consistent product quality and on-time deliveries. Negotiate and maintain supplier contracts and agreements
• Analyse market trends, conduct cost-benefit analysis, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality or safety
• Oversee inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory. Implement efficient inventory control measures
• Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that suppliers meet or exceed our quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Assess and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, market fluctuations, and geopolitical factors that may affect procurement activities
• Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, supplier performance, and cost savings to upper management

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
• Minimum five years of experience in procurement and supply chain management within the food manufacturing industry
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in English and Vietnamese
