About the Purchasing Manager Role:
This experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team and help us optimise our supply chain operations, reduce costs, and maintain the highest quality standards in our food production.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic procurement plans to ensure the uninterrupted supply of raw materials and packaging components while optimising costs
Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to maintain consistent product quality and on-time deliveries. Negotiate and maintain supplier contracts and agreements
Analyse market trends, conduct cost-benefit analysis, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising product quality or safety
Oversee inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory. Implement efficient inventory control measures
Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that suppliers meet or exceed our quality standards and regulatory requirements
Assess and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, market fluctuations, and geopolitical factors that may affect procurement activities
Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, supplier performance, and cost savings to upper management
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
Minimum five years of experience in procurement and supply chain management within the food manufacturing industry
Strong communication and negotiation skills in English and Vietnamese
