What you'll do:
As a Business Process Specialist in Procurement, you will play a pivotal role in understanding business processes to help drive process and technology innovation. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand current processes and examine issues while also partnering with various programme teams on solution implementation. Your contribution towards the design, testing, training, and continuous improvements of the technology solutions will be crucial. The team will function as touchpoint between end-users and Digital & Technology teams post implementation.
- Provide subject matter expertise for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) across Supply Chain - Procurement process areas.
- Ensure Material Requirement Plans and direct materials strategy to ensure accuracy and smooth execution.
- Monitor inventory level to ensure sufficient inventory for production and define inventory parameters while maintaining cost balance.
- Collaborate effectively and build strong relationships with stakeholders in Production, Master Planning, Scheduling, Procurement, Logistics & Warehouse, Quality, GBU Relations, I&PD, Finance.
- Identify potential raw material issues for NPI products and coordinate with relevant teams to find solutions.
- Manage projects related to materials management as assigned.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Business Process Specialist - Procurement role brings a wealth of manufacturing industry experience, particularly within the jewellery, luxury or fashion sectors. You have deep knowledge of ERP or MOM processes within Supply Chain - Procurement. Your operational business experience ideally includes business process design and implementation. Experience with SAP platforms would be advantageous. You are proactive in seeking out diverse opinions and excel at collaboration. Your well-structured approach, analytical mindset, and strong process orientation make you adept at defining, analysing and documenting business processes.
- 5+ years of manufacturing industry experience, preferably in jewellery or luxury or fashion environment.
- In-depth experience in ERP or MOM processes – Supply Chain - Procurement.
- Operational business experience, ideally in business process design and implementation.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA or SAP ME or SAP Digital Manufacturing platforms will be an advantage.
- Ability to proactively seek out various opinions and effectively collaborate with others.
- Well structured, good analytical and conceptual thinking. Strong process-orientation including ability to define, analyse and document business processes.
