What you'll do:
As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, your primary role will involve working hand-in-hand with the Sales team on all new sourcing projects. You will be responsible for analysing new product requests and identifying the right suppliers to bring these projects to life. Your expertise in Soft Goods products will be crucial in handling samples and ensuring that costing sampling timelines are well managed. A key part of your role will also involve building strong business relationships with suppliers and supporting the Sales team in their quest for business growth.
- Work closely with the Sales team on new sourcing projects
- Analyse new product requests and identify suitable suppliers for project development
- Source new suppliers as required
- Handle costing with a focus on effective price negotiation
- Manage samples with expertise in Soft Goods products such as apparel, bags, home textiles, shoes etc.
- Ensure effective management of costing sampling timelines
- Build strong business relationships with suppliers
- Support Sales team in achieving business growth objectives
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Sourcing Specialist role will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain or any related field. They will bring over 5 years of experience in sourcing supplier and product development within international buying or trading companies. The ability to travel around Asia if required is essential. A teamwork-oriented mindset is crucial, along with a willingness to learn new things and adapt to changes.
