Our client is seeking a Senior Costing Manager to join their team in Ho Chi Minh. This role will be pivotal in managing all aspects of analysis for the brands and the costing organisation.
The successful candidate will define and measure the financial impact of various product strategies, lead initiatives, and assist the brand to achieve Gross Pricing Margin targets. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the pre-costing process and contribute significantly to the company's success.

What you'll do:
As a Senior Costing Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of analysis for our client's brands and their costing organisation. You will be responsible for defining and measuring the financial impact of various product strategies, leading initiatives, and assisting the brand to achieve Gross Pricing Margin targets. Your role will also involve leading the pre-costing process, providing seasonal costing aligned with development gates and dates, driving communication on pertinent costing model information, tracking progress against key metrics, and providing seasonal costing function to top management.
* Perform duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
* Proactively manage with factory, brand and costing team to review and interpret factory cost sheets.
* Provide seasonal costing aligned with development gates and dates.
* Drive communication on pertinent costing model information to the brand and the costing organisation.
* Track progress against key metrics: FOB target vs Actual FOB.
* Provide seasonal costing function to top management.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Costing Manager position brings a wealth of experience in footwear product development or financial roles within multinational consumer product companies. You possess a 4-year degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or Accounting. Your strong problem-solving skills are complemented by your result-oriented approach. You have a deep understanding of economic profit concepts, strategic planning, manufacturing processes as well as advanced project management skills. Your excellent English communication skills enable you to articulate goals clearly and facilitate effective meetings.
* 4-year Degree (e.g. Bachelor’s), subject area: Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, Accounting.
* Minimum 5 years of footwear product development experience or financial experience in a multinational consumer product company.
* Demonstrated skills in problem solving and result orientation.
* Knowledge of economic profit concepts, strategic planning, and manufacturing.
* Advanced development and project management skills.
* Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
