Senior Merchandising Manager

Our client - A Global Leading Sportwears is looking for a Senior Merchandising Manager to join the Ho Chi Minh City office and play a key role in shaping seasonal sourcing strategies across multiple brands and supplier groups. What You’ll Do

• Lead the full merchandising process from strategy to buy readiness.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (planning, materials, quality, logistics, design/R&D) to deliver on product development goals.
• Drive seasonal sourcing strategies and oversee product allocation governance.
• Manage critical path milestones, production reviews, and resolve bottlenecks quickly.
• Oversee sample management, costing negotiations, and vendor capability building.
• Ensure system accuracy in PLM/ERP platforms and publish buy-ready reports.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and uphold compliance/sustainability standards.
• Coach and develop your team, fostering a culture of growth and succession planning.

What You Bring

• Strong experience in apparel manufacturing or supply chain management.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and build high-performing talent.
• Deep knowledge of garment construction, materials, and trims.
• Advanced costing and negotiation skills to optimise margins.
• Expertise in calendar management and production planning.
• Proficiency in PLM systems (e.g., Centric), Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent English communication; Vietnamese or Chinese is a plus.
• Ability to manage complex projects independently in fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to travel regularly for factory/vendor visits.
