SEA Head of Finance (Global Company)

A multinational company is looking for a SEA Head of Finance responsible for strategic financial oversight with operational governance based in Ho Chi Minh City. This person will be at the heart of decision-making, guiding multi-functional teams and spearheading high-value projects that shape the future of the regional office.

What you'll do:

Financial strategy and governance

  • Develop and implement robust financial strategies and governance frameworks to ensure long-term sustainability across the region.
  • Lead timely statutory and management reporting; ensure full adherence to tax regulations, internal controls, and audits.
  • Oversee monthly forecasting, annual budgeting (OpEx/CapEx), and provide variance analysis to support regional decision-making.
  • Manage funding requirements, cash flow projections, and banking relationships.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost-efficiency initiatives to strengthen supply chain governance.

Operations and project management

  • Lead administrative teams in delivering reception, travel management, and facility services.
  • Oversee procurement budgets, negotiate contracts, and manage outsourced vendors to optimize service delivery.
  • Act as custodian for fixed assets and lead the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and corporate security initiatives.
  • Execute high-impact projects including office renovations, lease negotiations, and system implementations.

People Leadership

  • Champion talent development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness for the team.

What you bring:

  • 10-15 years' work experience in Finance and Corporate Services, with at least 5 years in a regional leadership role managing multi-functional teams.
  • Deep expertise in statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel/BI tools.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in high-impact Project Management.
  • Logical and strategic thinker with strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills. Proven ability to lead change and drive operational excellence.
