An exciting Senior Sourcing Specialist job has just available at one of biggest home improvement retailer in the U.S.

About the Senior Sourcing Specialist Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing from multiple media, websites, trade shows (Canton Fair, CIHS, etc.) for new suppliers / new products in Asia area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Priority the task on hand and can set up timeline and execute
• Keep tracking and understand market technique trend
• Deep dive on products and understand cost structure
• Mapping and ranking supplier in logic to support business decision , able to create and refresh supplier landscape
• Can lead the key communication related with business with suppliers and develop partner relationship with key vendors
• Business acumen ,can identify the business opportunities , provide suggestion and view to PDM to drive the business
• Can handle crisis case properly with strong communication skills and be solution provider
• Be captain of project , lead and coordinate with SQE team, package, logistic department for key project development
• Filing / maintaining the business documents
• Source, evaluate, develop and grow suppliers/manufacturers relationship within product category.
• Identify business opportunity to drive cost competitiveness and margin improvement.
• Organize comparison sheets and additional supporting documentation to provide a comprehensive analysis on product specifications and cost to assist decision makers (Product Development Merchants).
• Provide coaching to suppliers during the on boarding process to ensure compliance and documents collection: SSK, SBA, RTV, NDA, Financial and Legal certifications, etc.
• Prepare and administer completion of vendor profile, FCQA and factory visit reports
• Assist in the arrangement of trip itineraries and the arrangement of accommodations including hotel booking and transportation
• Coach new suppliers on boarding process

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

• At least five to seven year's experience into sourcing for leading retailers, particularly of earning self-business development
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure in a dynamic business environment
• Good negotiation skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills with professionalism
• Strong problem solving and excellent organisational and project management skills, able to work well with cross-functional teams
• Fluent in both verbal and written English, willing to travel regularly within South East Asia and China
• Chinese speaking would be a plus
• CPM and/or CPIM certification preferred
• Knowledge and experience of global sourcing, international trading, manufacturing and engineering design is preferred
• Computer literacy including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
• Strong sense of logic, analytical skill
• Strong time management skills
• Result-oriented execution
• High passion and fast learner
