About the Planning Material Manager (Textile and footwear) Role:

The Planning Material Manager holds the primary responsibility of overseeing and coordinating all facets of material planning and supply chain functions. The core objective is to guarantee the timely and efficient availability of materials essential for supporting uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement material planning strategies for efficient inventory management
• Forecast material demand, working with cross-functional teams and suppliers to align procurement
• Identify, qualify, and manage supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective, reliable material supply
• Monitor supplier performance, optimise inventory, and coordinate material shipments
• Utilise materials management software and ERP systems for tracking and reporting
• Analyse KPIs, implement process improvements, and lead a team of material planners

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field
• Proven experience in material planning and supply chain management
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, demand forecasting, and supplier relationships
• Proficiency in materials management software and ERP systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Leadership experience in material planning
• Industry knowledge and adaptability to fast-paced environments
• Fluency communication in English and Vietnamese
