Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee Customer Service, Production/Materials Planning, Materials Control, Warehouse/Material Handling/Shipping, and Import/Export operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing, implementing, and ensuring accountability for processes that align with Business and Operations objectives. This role provides the chance to lead by example, setting clear expectations, coaching, and fostering the growth of direct reports to cultivate a high-performing and empowered team.

  • Oversee diverse operations including customer service, production planning, materials control, and import/export operations.
  • Formulate annual local Supply Chain strategy in alignment with global strategy and business development plan.
  • Lead a high-performance team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

What you'll do:

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the supply chain strategy of our client's organisation. You will work closely with global subsidiaries to develop strategies that meet or exceed customer needs in terms of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people development. Your expertise in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) will be crucial in maintaining system data integrity and functionality. You will also have the opportunity to build a high-performing team through individual development plans, performance management, coaching, and mentoring.

  • Formulate the annual local Supply Chain strategy by blending insights from both the Global Supply Chain strategy and the local annual business development plan.
  • Partner with global subsidiaries to develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed internal & external customer needs related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and people development.
  • Oversee logistics partners to ensure timely loading, shipping, and export of customer shipments, meeting predefined service goals.
  • Lead a process-focused approach, developing streamlined business processes for consistent and replicable outcomes.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and drive strong discipline to System Data Integrity and standard functionality.
  • Build a high-performance team that includes establishing Individual Development Plans, Performance Management to key deliverable, and 1:1 Coaching and Mentoring.

You have proven your proficiency in progressive inventory management principles and have a track record of leading warehousing and shipping departments. Your comprehensive knowledge of international logistics and familiarity with import/export regulations will be invaluable in this role. You also possess strong English communication skills and the ability to cultivate and maintain effective relationships across diverse stakeholders.
