They are currently seeking a Customs Manager to join their high-performing team based in Binh Duong, Vietnam. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage all import and export processes for raw materials, finished goods and non-commercial freight. What you'll do:

As a Customs Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of import and export processes. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient handling of local customs procedures, preparing yearly customs finalisation reports, reconciling custom systems with inventory transactions, and coordinating with various departments to prepare shipping documents. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with local, regional, and global regulations. This position requires a solid understanding of customs regulations for EPE.

  • Manage all import and export processes for raw material, finished goods and non-commercial freight.
  • Ensure efficient handling of local customs procedures such as day-to-day customs declarations and liquidation.
  • Prepare yearly customs finalisation report.
  • Perform analysis for inventory movement, production order and average actual BOM consumption from SAP.
  • Reconcile custom system and inventory transactions.
  • Understand custom legal for chemical, fixed asset, C/O for EPE company.
  • Be responsible for all compliant, accurate and timely internal and external reporting as well as regular reconciliation of data between Customs authorities and the company.
  • Handle self-registration customs declaration for import/export shipments.
  • Coordinate with Planning department / Customers / Vendors / Suppliers to prepare shipping documents and closely follow up to ensure the delivery without issues or additional costs.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with Local / Regional / Global Regulations, Standards and Rules set by Internal and External bodies and authorities.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Customs Manager position will bring a wealth of experience in logistics or supply chain management. You will have at least five years' experience in a similar role and will be comfortable working in a multinational environment. Proficiency in English is essential, as is experience using SAP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills.

  • Bachelor Degree in logistics, Supply chain or related field.
  • Experience in using SAP system; proficiency in Ms. Office (Excel is a must).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a comparable position.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a multi-national environment.
  • Fluent English proficiency.
