Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager to join their team in Ho Chi Minh. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and direct the Supply Chain Operation (Planning) team, ensuring efficient service through Supplier Delivery Risk Management, On-Time Delivery, and Operational Execution. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting Global Sourcing KPIs, managing departmental KPIs, and driving continuous improvement projects.

What you'll do:
As a Supply Chain Planning Manager, your role will be pivotal in leading the team to provide an efficient service. You will be responsible for managing the onboarding process, resolving fulfilment issues, and consolidating delivery information from suppliers. Your proactive approach will be key in conducting plant visits and capacity assessments to manage supplier fulfilment risks. You will also identify and resolve root causes of supply chain inefficiency while leading supply chain improvement projects. Your leadership skills will be utilised in developing subordinate associates.
* Manage and follow up on the onboarding process
* Resolve fulfilment issues and consolidate delivery information from suppliers on a weekly basis
* Conduct plant visits and capacity assessments to proactively manage supplier fulfilment risks
* Identify and resolve root causes of supply chain inefficiency
* Lead supply chain improvement, continuous process, system improvement and value creation projects
* Support factory efficiency improvement project
* Develop subordinate associates through leadership, direction, coaching, and engagement
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Planning Manager position brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table. With a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or International trade, you have spent at least 8 years honing your skills in related areas. Your execution skills allow you to drive behaviour by metrics effectively. Project management skills are advantageous for this role as is knowledge of factory operations/production management.
