Senior Merchandiser (Soft goods)

What you'll do:

As a Senior Merchandiser, you will be at the heart of our operations, playing a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing quotations, negotiating prices with buyers and factories, sourcing materials, monitoring order statuses, and resolving any production issues. You will also be responsible for following up on pre-production samples with both the factory and buyers. Your ability to multitask under tight deadlines will be crucial to your success in this role.

• Prepare quotations and negotiate with buyers and factories to finalize prices.
• Source, purchase, follow up on, check, and control materials and components.
• Ensure materials meet quality, cost, and lead time requirements for the bulk stage.
• Monitor the status of orders from initiation until shipment.
• Collect information and instructions from buyers and cooperate with factory departments to fulfill these requirements.
• Follow up on samples for pre-production with the factory and sample approval status with buyers before starting bulk production.
• Monitor production and resolve any issues until the products are ready for shipment.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Merchandiser position brings a wealth of experience in merchandising, sourcing or supply chain management. You have spent over 10 years honing your skills in these areas, preferably within the soft goods, bags, shoes, apparel, printing or packaging industries. Your strong negotiation and communication skills set you apart from others. You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications as well as various sourcing platforms. Your ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines is commendable. Lastly, you have a good command of English, which will be essential in this role.

• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in merchandising, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Experience in soft goods, bags, shoes, apparel, printing, packaging industries is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and sourcing platforms.
• Good command of English (4 skills).
