Senior Operations Manager

Our client is a leading E-commerce enabler in Vietnam, providing end-to-end services and helping brands accelerate their online presence. They are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to oversee Operational Excellence and Supply Chain functions, driving strategic initiatives to improve process efficiency, cost effectiveness, and service quality.

This role will lead the Supply Management team, champion process improvement projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure inventory optimization and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's business. You will be responsible for overseeing Operational Excellence and Supply Chain functions within the organisation. Your role will involve defining and implementing continuous improvement strategies that align with company goals. You will also be tasked with leading Lean and other performance improvement methodologies to enhance operational scalability and efficiency. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you analyse operational data to identify inefficiencies and drive data-informed corrective actions.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement across operations, fulfillment, and customer service.
• Champion change management, training, and communication efforts to ensure adoption of new processes.
• Oversee stock replenishment processes from suppliers to multiple e-commerce channels.
• Ensure accurate forecasting, stock allocation, and timely delivery to warehouses.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (sales, suppliers, warehouses, 3PLs, platforms) to align on supply chain processes.
• Monitor and report inventory status (DOI, SLOB, ATP, Expiry) and manage stock health.
• Drive new initiatives in pricing and supply chain management.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Operations Manager position brings a wealth of experience in managing operations in an Omni-channels practice from a Supply Chain and Logistics standpoint. You have excellent horizontal stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to analyze and build optimization strategies for operational excellence. Your experience in activities-based costing allows you to analyze cost related to each operational activity throughout the end-to-end supply chain, and identify opportunities for cost reduction. Your practical experience in applying Lean Six Sigma methodology will be invaluable in this role.

• Master's degree is preferable
• 10+ years at work, minimum 5 years at same level
• Experience in managing operations in an Omni-channels practice from Supply Chain and Logistics standpoint
• Excellent horizontal stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to analyze and build optimization strategy for operational excellence
• Able to perform activities-based costing, analyze cost related to each operational activity throughout the end-to-end supply chain, and identify opportunities for cost reduction
• Practical experience in applying Lean Six Sigma methodology
• Strong focus on standardizing and simplifying processes, setting up operational principles, reducing errors, and training team members
• Analytical and able to utilize data and Business Intelligence to make informed decisions
• Fluency in English
