What you'll do:
As Head of Planning and Innovation, you will be at the forefront of driving transformative change across regional supply chains. - Lead the timely deployment of new innovations within the business unit, ensuring all launches comply with strategic guardrails and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Marketing, R&D, and Procurement to deliver innovation projects on schedule and in full.
- Define optimal sourcing networks to achieve cost efficiency and timely delivery for new product launches while developing supplier capabilities.
- Develop first production plans and transition strategies to ensure capacity readiness at sourcing sites, including stock build targets for new products.
- Monitor post-launch performance of innovations, resolving any supply or quality issues within the initial months of deployment to secure operational excellence.
- Own the long-term capacity planning process for finished goods across sourcing units, translating category growth assumptions into actionable volume forecasts.
- Drive investment decisions for capacity expansion by balancing trade-offs between scenarios and aligning with strategic business priorities.
- Lead scenario planning exercises and validate outputs from strategic planning processes to optimise cost, service levels, and risk management.
- Optimise sourcing networks by studying current portfolios and proposing projects that improve cost, cash flow, and service criteria across export markets.
- Build resiliency plans for sourcing all markets in Greater Asia in synchronisation with global strategies and regional business priorities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related field is required; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred for strategic planning roles.
- 8–12 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Innovation Planning or Capacity Management within FMCG or similar industries is essential for success in this position.
- Proven track record deploying innovations and technology solutions across multiple markets while managing complex projects collaboratively.
- Demonstrated experience in scenario planning, trade-off analysis, and investment decision-making for long-term capacity expansion is highly valued.
- Familiarity with integrated planning processes as well as collaborative manufacturing practices ensures effective alignment with customer operations.
- Proficiency in advanced planning systems such as SAP APO or IBP along with digital supply chain tools is necessary for data-driven decision making.
- Strong analytical skills enabling interpretation of complex data sets and modelling of various scenarios are critical for this role.
- Knowledge of CAPEX planning processes, manufacturing technologies, network optimisation techniques as well as global trade practices is important.
- Ability to shape long-term supply chain strategies through executive communication skills that facilitate informed decision-making among senior leaders.
- Excellent relationship-building skills across global/regional teams including external partners are vital for fostering collaboration under dynamic conditions.
