  • Join a forward-thinking organisation that prioritises employee development, fosters a culture of support, and offers opportunities for continuous improvement within the forecasting discipline.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Analyst Global Forecasting, you will be entrusted with driving the accuracy of product demand predictions through sophisticated statistical analysis. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close monitoring of sales trends, evaluating order patterns against forecasts, and collaborating with diverse teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations. You will play an instrumental role in maintaining balanced inventory levels across multiple distribution centres while supporting promotional activities and new product launches. By identifying out-of-the-ordinary conditions early on and providing actionable recommendations, you will help safeguard customer satisfaction rates. Your ability to communicate effectively with both internal colleagues and external partners will be essential as you work together to refine forecasting models and contribute meaningfully to business planning discussions. Additionally, your involvement in training new team members will help foster a collaborative environment focused on shared success.

  • Analyse, update, and monitor product forecasts at SKU warehouse level using advanced statistical systems, ensuring accuracy and timely communication of changes to relevant departments.
  • Evaluate future orders against existing forecasts, making necessary adjustments to maintain alignment with evolving customer demand patterns.
  • Oversee the entire product planning lifecycle, including status tracking, forecasting, promotion readiness, and inventory management to support business objectives.
  • Calculate and track key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy and bias; identify discrepancies and implement solutions to enhance forecasting outcomes.
  • Detect unusual trends or anomalies in product data, promptly informing management and recommending effective resolutions.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather reliable data inputs and ensure robust forecasting processes.
  • Assess inventory positions and supply chain reliability to approve promotional activities, customer projections, and ensure consistent product availability.
  • Identify items or groups scheduled for discontinuation; recommend optimal timing based on remaining inventories at various locations while negotiating with production, purchasing, or vendors as needed.
  • Develop strategies for managing excess inventory by proposing items for special promotions or clearance initiatives, ensuring efficient stock turnover.
  • Contribute actively to both long-term strategic planning and short-term operational reviews by participating in product review meetings and integrated business planning sessions.

What you bring:

To excel as a Senior Analyst Global Forecasting, you will bring proven experience from roles involving complex data analysis within supply chain or demand planning environments. Your educational background equips you with foundational knowledge while your hands-on expertise allows you to apply advanced forecasting methodologies confidently. You have worked extensively with ERP platforms and possess technical fluency in tools such as Excel; any additional exposure to SQL or Python further enhances your analytical capabilities. Your approach is marked by dependability, sensitivity towards team dynamics, and an inclusive mindset that values input from all stakeholders. You are adept at building trust-based relationships across departments—ensuring information flows smoothly—and your commitment to continuous improvement means you are always looking for ways to optimise processes. Your fluency in English supports clear communication across international teams while your keen eye for detail ensures high standards are consistently met.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field is required for this position.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in demand planning or inventory management within a complex organisational structure is essential.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in statistical forecasting methods as well as inventory planning techniques is highly valued.
  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain principles coupled with practical experience applying these concepts in real-world scenarios is expected.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems along with hands-on use of demand planning software tools is important for success.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required; experience with SQL databases, Power BI dashboards or Python programming would be considered advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective collaboration within cross-functional teams are vital for this role.
