Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve translating strategic supply chain plans into actionable weekly and hourly schedules that optimise resource allocation and maximise productivity. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams—ranging from shop-floor operators to senior supply chain leaders—to ensure smooth execution of production orders. By monitoring schedule effectiveness on the shop floor and making real-time adjustments as needed, you will help maintain high levels of schedule adherence while addressing any exceptions or bottlenecks swiftly. - Translate four-week production plans into detailed weekly and hourly schedules by working hand-in-hand with shop-floor controllers and production staff.
- Review performance variances against KPI targets with key stakeholders such as Production, I&PD, PEx, taking corrective actions promptly when necessary.
- Develop detailed guidelines for managing exceptions to plans and procedures for shifting schedules in response to changing scenarios or unforeseen challenges.
- Monitor day-to-day operations at each site, balancing order priorities and escalating issues to Master Planning as required while proactively tracking daily status updates.
- Provide backorder recovery plans in collaboration with Master Planning teams, updating global supply chain partners on progress as needed.
- Manage shipment plans, oversee replenishment activities, campaign launches, new product orders sequencing (D phase), and follow up on any production control issues that arise.
