An exciting Logistics Manager job has arisen in a leading firm in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.
About the Logistics Manager Role:
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, you will managing the month closing, for both management and statutory reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analysis on financial status, inventory level, to provide suggestions for company costs savings and reduce the inventory level
- Building an effective budgetary control system, to ensure the business performance/development is consistent with long term corporate objectives and the company resources are utilised effectively
- Focuses on the development of risk assessment frameworks, to safeguard company assets and minimise the risk from currency exchange risk
- Monitor excess and obsolete material status and disposal
- Analyse productivity and efficiency improvement for each operation
- Analyse direct labour manpower planning and staff HC control
- Overall control on quotation/pricing formula as submit by SBU
- Verify/maintain/follow up the tax reports (e.g. CIT and VAT refund) /foreign loan report/transfer price report, to fulfil the government policy
- Perform ad-hoc assignments
To succeed in this role, you must have good command of English.
Key Requirements:
- University graduate or above in Accounting / Financial Management with professional qualification attained
- 10 years solid experience with at least five years in supervisory level gained in sizable electronics / manufacturing company preferred
- Experience of inventory control in electronics manufacturing field
- Hands-on experience in costing and cost analysis
- Familiar with software applications
- Good negotiation skill and analytical mind will be an asset
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English
- Station in Hai Duong, Vietnam is required
