An exciting Senior Transport Strategic Planning Manager job has arisen in a leading logistic firm in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.

About the Senior Transport Strategic Planning Manager Role:

The role is responsible for consolidation all transport routes to simulate and design the right fit of transport route planning with efficient transport costing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of transport route optimisation model to deliverable to transport resource planning team including eliminate the issue arise from using planning tools and process at all time
• Ensure and follow transport safety strategies
• Ensure planning team to deliver the service quality to internal and external customer
• Review and update team performance report to superior level
• Consolidate all customer orders to simulate the best efficient transport route model by using planning tool – Paragon by daily basis
• Identify transport planning process issue and/or potential planning process improvement, co-working with analyst team

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• Over seven years management experience in a service related role, preferably in the supply chain, logistics service industry
• Strong experience in transportation planning, route optimisation, team management
• Experience of the local regulatory environment
• Communication skills (English and Vietnamese), spoken and written
