An exciting Export Manager job has arisen in a leading pharmaceutical firm in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.
About the Export Manager Role:
The primary responsibility of the Export Manager is to oversee all aspects of international trade, including developing marketing and business strategies at the international level for new export markets, managing existing customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and laws. The Export Manager generally supervises a team of export professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Analysis of existing and new markets to see the efficiency of the plan developed with the customer and its development and increase the registered items
Forecast fluctuations of the world market, analysis and open new target markets based on the company's strategies
Develop and implement export strategies to maximise profits and minimise costs
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimise export operations
Negotiate with partners and customers to sign contracts covering the company’s business plan to prevent all risks
Coordinate with production division closely according to requirements of contract and delivery schedule
Control of sales debt
Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback
Establish and manage relationships with international partners, including distributors, agents and vendors
Research, identify and apply for permits and certificates required for customs clearance
Prepare customs declarations and other necessary documents describing goods and materials to be transported and comply with all import and export regulations
Work with external authorities to verify and comply with all customs requirements
Perform any other task assigned by the Chief Strategy Officer
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceuticals/BBA/Marketing/economics
English language: B1 CEFR or equivalent
IT: good In-dept knowledge: ✓ Company's quality control system
Five years experience/exposure of export sector would be considered a major advantage
