An exciting Logistics Planner job has arisen in a leading technology & engineering firm in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.
About the Logistics Planner Role:
In this role, you will forecast planning acquisition and demand planning discussion with sales and JOEMs
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement and delivery planning based on validated long-term and short-term customer forecast
Procurement execution in SAP and delivery monitoring / negotiation
Import coordination and delivery monitoring from company plant to customers
Month-end and year-end stock-taking
SOP, EOP, ECR management and coordination based on logistics’ responsibility
Ad-hoc planning and monitoring in case of high demand fluctuation, urgent request from customer, relocation
KPI management: Inventory control, TCT management, logistics cost management, On time delivery management
Analyse, implement, and manage value stream to improve work efficiency
Other tasks as per alignment with Supervisor
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with studies related in supply chain, logistics, business process, process management, customer service is preferred
Three to five years working experience in international procurement, logistics or supply chain management for multi-countries company
Good customer handling skills is preferred
Fluent in Japanese (both writing and speaking, JLPT N2 or above)
Intermediate English, able to read and write emails related to demand and shipment situations
Possessing knowledge and experience in ERP (SAP is preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail, work ethic, high integrity with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger team-oriented environment
Problem solving skills with customer centric approach
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Deep understanding/acknowledgement on report – communication – discussion process
Good time management, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to understand and evaluate information from a variety of sources
