An exciting Logistic Manager job has arisen in a leading international retail fashion firm in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.
About the Logistic Manager Role:
The Logistics Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing, coordinating, and monitoring various aspects of logistics operations, including but not limited to warehousing, inventory management, transportation, shipping documentation, and overall supply chain processes.
Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of order administration across various sales channels, taking end-to-end ownership of the order flow and fulfilment process
Monitor daily pick & pack operations conducted by the third-party logistics provider (3PL), organising and tracking shipments. Implement procedures to enhance workflow, ensuring heightened productivity and reduced lead time
Supervise product import processes to guarantee compliance with regulatory and legal requirements
Possess a strong understanding of customs clearance procedures and requirements
Uphold the integrity of inventory accuracy, managing stock movements with the support of direct reports
Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies, ensuring alignment between inventory and system records
Demonstrate the ability to consistently deliver products on time, meeting scheduled arrival dates for customers
Contribute to the development and implementation of a logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to enhance and optimise operational performance
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Education: Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies, Supply Chain Management, eCommerce Logistics, or an equivalent qualification
IT skills: Proficient in Office365, with advanced expertise in Excel. Familiarity with Power BI and SAP is an additional asset
Professional Experience: Brings a minimum of five to six years of relevant work experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain management. Previous experience in the apparel or footwear industry is advantageous. Leadership experience spanning one to twp years is a prerequisite
Language Proficiency: Fluent in written and spoken English at a business level. Demonstrates effective communication skills with all organisational levels, both in written and oral forms.
