They are currently seeking a Logistics Manager who will report to the Operations Director. This role offers an exciting opportunity to set quarterly Objectives and Key Results for Operations, manage 3rd Party Logistics, and initiate continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing operations from a Supply Chain and Logistics standpoint.

What you'll do:

As a Logistics Manager, you will play a crucial role in setting the direction for the operations team. Your ability to set quarterly Objectives and Key Results will be key in driving the success of the operations. You will lead the 3rd Party Logistics team, ensuring that operational KPIs are met while also initiating continuous improvement initiatives for greater efficiency. Your role will involve planning and monitoring daily operations, anticipating potential risks, and taking proactive measures to mitigate these. You will also be responsible for coordinating between 3PL and marketplace platforms, ensuring efficient first-mile delivery.

  • Set quarterly Objectives and Key Results for Operations
  • Manage the network of 3rd party logistics providers to achieve operational KPI
  • Initiate continuous improvement initiatives to achieve greater efficiency and lower cost of operations
  • Plan and monitor day-to-day running of operations and operational KPI
  • Anticipate risks related to 3PL operations and take proactive actions to mitigate or eliminate the risks
  • Perform regular reconciliation of inventory between 3PL warehouses and system
  • Coordinate between 3PL and marketplace platforms to ensure first-mile delivery is executed efficiently

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Logistics Manager position brings a wealth of experience in managing operations from a Supply Chain and Logistics standpoint. Your excellent stakeholder management skills coupled with your ability to analyze and build optimization strategies for operational excellence will be key in this role. You should be able to perform activities-based costing, identifying opportunities for cost reduction throughout the end-to-end supply chain. Practical experience in applying Lean Six Sigma methodology will be highly beneficial. A strong focus on standardizing and simplifying processes, setting up operational principles, reducing errors, and training team members is also required.

  • Experience in managing operations in an Omni-channels practice from a Supply Chain and Logistics standpoint
  • Excellent horizontal stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and build optimization strategy for operational excellence
  • Able to perform activities-based costing, analyze costs related to each operational activity throughout end-to-end supply chain, and identify opportunities for cost reduction
  • Practical experience in applying Lean Six Sigma methodology
  • Strong focus on standardizing and simplifying processes, setting up operational principles, reduce errors, and train team members
