Field Operations Director

A leading organisation in Vietnam is seeking a Field Operations Director to oversee nationwide installation and project delivery, with a strong focus on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems. You will drive safety, quality, and execution excellence across major infrastructure and high‑rise developments while implementing global standards and fostering a collaborative, supportive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead nationwide construction and MEP installation operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, permits, and training requirements.
• Develop and execute strategic construction plans aligned with organisational goals.
• Apply global and local construction standards consistently across all projects.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Operations on tenders, cost estimates, and issue resolution.
• Strengthen team capability through structured project management practices and effective stakeholder communication.
• Plan manpower, tools, and equipment for current and future projects.
• Oversee technical execution based on specifications, shop drawings, MEP layouts, and industry codes.
• Coordinate with technical teams and factories for accurate data and engineering support.
• Monitor receivables, cost performance, and forecasting in partnership with Finance.
• Participate in management meetings to drive process and operational improvements.

What You Bring

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related).
• 5+ years of experience in MEP installation project management, construction, or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary site teams and coordinate with contractors and clients.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Familiarity with ISO processes and quality management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong English communication skills.
• Collaborative leadership style with a focus on developing people and building trust.
