This role is based in the vibrant city of Hanoi and offers the chance to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will ensure optimal pricing, reimbursement, and access for pharmaceutical products, while maintaining compliance with regulatory and market conditions.

This role requires cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders, including healthcare authorities, payers, and industry partners.

What you'll do:

As a Market Access Manager, you will be at the forefront of enhancing patient access to pharmaceutical products. Your role will involve designing tailored access plans by analysing local healthcare systems, reimbursement policies, and payer landscapes. You will lead pricing negotiations with health authorities and payers while collaborating with various teams to develop pricing models. Your ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders will be crucial as you represent the company in discussions advocating for patient access. You will also support the development of HEOR materials to demonstrate the value of products to payers.

  • Design and implement market access strategies to support the introduction and sustainability of pharmaceutical products across different regions.
  • Lead pricing negotiations and submissions for product reimbursement to health authorities and payers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including payers, government agencies, healthcare providers, and patient advocacy groups.
  • Work closely with medical, commercial, regulatory, and legal teams to ensure coordinated efforts in product launch and lifecycle management.
  • Support the development and presentation of Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) materials.
  • Ensure market access strategies comply with local, regional, and global regulatory frameworks.
  • Track and report on the performance of market access initiatives.

What you bring:

As a Market Access Manager, your extensive experience in market access within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry will be invaluable. Your strong understanding of health economics combined with your excellent negotiation skills will enable you to successfully lead pricing negotiations. Your ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders will be crucial in this role. Furthermore, your strong communication skills will allow you to effectively convey complex information. Your self-motivation and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously will be key in this fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Economics or Business.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in market access, pricing, reimbursement or health economics within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Proven track record of successful market access and pricing negotiations with public or private payers.
  • Strong understanding of health economics, payer perspectives, and pricing strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
