This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of Therapy Area, establish standards of medical capability, and provide scientific leadership within the Medical Affairs Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing Therapy Area/Product Medical Affairs Plans, driving meaningful changes in patient care and treatment paradigms, and enabling access to quality care. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare system practices and gaps, as well as the ability to translate this knowledge into actionable strategies.

What you'll do:

As a Medical Affairs Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare. Your primary responsibility will be to drive medically led initiatives that contribute positively to patient outcomes. You will leverage your medical expertise to design, implement, and oversee real-world evidence (RWE) projects. Your ability to interpret and communicate findings from these projects will be crucial in informing both internal medical strategies and external healthcare decision-making. As part of your role, you will also lead educational initiatives and develop clinical support tools that integrate new medical advancements into clinical practice.

  • Drive Medically led/co-led initiatives that contribute to positive patient outcomes.
  • Design, implement, and oversee real-world evidence (RWE) projects.
  • Interpret and communicate findings from RWE projects.
  • Establish the company as a scientific leader through proactive medical inputs.
  • Lead educational initiatives and develop clinical support tools.

What you bring:

As our ideal candidate for the Medical Affairs Associate Director position, you bring a wealth of experience from the pharmaceutical industry with extensive knowledge of the Medical Affairs function. Your strong understanding of medical, clinical development, and regulatory requirements will be crucial in this role. You have a proven track record in stakeholder management and are known for your excellent oral and written communication skills. Your strong project management and organisational skills will enable you to lead significant cross-functional projects effectively. Furthermore, your extensive team management experience will be invaluable in fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

  • Science degree or master’s degree in a scientific discipline is essential.
