You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to advancing healthcare solutions, working closely with senior leadership, and influencing key decisions that shape the future of medicine. The organisation offers a collaborative, multicultural environment where your expertise will be valued, and your professional growth supported through ongoing training opportunities and exposure to international best practices. If you are passionate about making a difference in the medical field and thrive in a setting that values curiosity, mutual respect, and collective achievement, this role could be your next career-defining move.

  • Join a globally recognised healthcare leader committed to defeating serious chronic diseases through innovative science and compassionate care; benefit from a culture that puts people first and encourages new ideas.
  • Work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic department focused on scientific communication, strategic relationship building, and improving patient outcomes across Vietnam and beyond.
  • Enjoy flexible working opportunities, access to continuous learning, and the chance to influence business-critical decisions while developing your expertise in a forward-thinking environment.

What you'll do:

As Medical Affairs Manager, you will take on a central role in shaping how scientific information is communicated both internally and externally. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design educational programmes for healthcare professionals, guiding evidence-based discussions with key stakeholders, and ensuring all activities adhere to rigorous compliance standards. You will also contribute to the development of strategic partnerships that drive better health outcomes for patients living with chronic diseases. Success in this position requires you to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution while maintaining open lines of communication across various departments. By leveraging your expertise in medical affairs, you will help set new benchmarks for excellence in patient care and scientific engagement.

  • Establish comprehensive medical strategy plans for therapy areas that align with broader business objectives and local affiliate goals.
  • Lead the execution of scientific and medical educational activities for healthcare professionals, ensuring all guidance on product use meets ethical and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with field medical colleagues to coordinate impactful medical affairs initiatives within the cardiometabolic therapy area.
  • Develop and implement medical affairs strategies based on patient needs, including evidence generation projects that support clinical practice improvements.
  • Drive scientific dialogue by engaging with key opinion leaders, facilitating publication strategies, and supporting knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Ensure compliance with internal regulatory requirements as well as external industry standards throughout all medical affairs activities.
  • Foster strong partnerships with healthcare systems, professional associations, and cross-functional teams to enhance patient outcomes at both local and national levels.
  • Provide expert input into clinical trial phases by integrating patient perspectives into communication strategies and supporting data dissemination efforts.
  • Support the development of training materials for internal stakeholders to ensure consistent understanding of therapeutic areas and products.
  • Monitor emerging trends in the healthcare landscape to inform strategy adjustments and maintain alignment with organisational priorities.

What you bring:

To excel as Medical Affairs Manager, you will draw upon your extensive background as a qualified Medical Doctor coupled with significant experience in medical affairs within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors. Your interpersonal skills will be crucial as you foster collaboration among diverse teams while nurturing relationships with external partners such as healthcare providers and professional associations. A nuanced understanding of compliance requirements will guide your approach to project management, ensuring every initiative upholds the highest ethical standards. Your fluency in both Vietnamese and English allows you to communicate complex concepts clearly across cultural boundaries. Additionally, your commitment to ongoing professional development means you are always ready to adapt strategies based on emerging evidence or shifting patient needs. By bringing together these technical competencies with empathy, reliability, and a genuine desire to improve lives through science-driven solutions, you will make an invaluable impact on both your team’s success and broader public health outcomes.

  • Medical Doctor qualification is essential for this position, providing you with the clinical foundation necessary for effective scientific communication.
  • At least five years’ experience working within medical affairs or related roles in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry ensures you bring deep sector knowledge.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage people or lead complex medical projects is highly desirable for success in this role.
  • Native Vietnamese language skills combined with strong English communication abilities enable you to operate effectively in both local and international contexts.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing medical strategies aligned with business needs highlights your strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Experience collaborating across teams—particularly within cardiometabolic or diabetes therapy areas—will allow you to quickly integrate into existing structures.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks governing pharmaceutical activities ensures all actions meet ethical standards.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and regulatory bodies supports successful partnership development.
  • Strong organisational skills are required for managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A passion for continuous learning keeps you up-to-date with evolving trends in medicine and enhances your contribution to team objectives.
