Engineering Manager (Databricks)

This role leads and enables high-performing data engineering teams & manage a data platform (with a focus on Databricks). Working style: Hybrid in Ho Chi Minh

What you’ll need to do

• Lead and coach Agile data engineering teams to deliver high-quality, reliable data platforms across batch, streaming, and analytics use cases

• Own execution of the data engineering roadmap, balancing delivery, scalability, and long-term platform sustainability

• Drive engineering excellence across data quality, testing, CI/CD, code review, documentation, and operational readiness

• Collaborate with architects, product, analytics, platform, and governance teams to deliver data capabilities aligned to business priorities

What you’ll need to apply

• 10+ years’ experience in software or data engineering, with 4+ years leading engineering teams

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, lakehouse architectures, and batch/streaming pipelines

• Deep understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, and analytics use cases

• Strong cloud experience on AWS or Google Cloud Platform, with modern CI/CD practices

• Proven leadership in delivering end-to-end data platforms with high standards for quality, reliability, and governance
