Senior Data Analyst/ Scientist

What You’ll Do

• Produce and distribute a weekly product metrics report, sharing key insights and performance updates with the team via Slack and Linear.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis to answer ad-hoc product questions, using efficient queries to uncover insights around user behavior, cohorts, and funnel performance.

• Perform structured competitive intelligence research across 50+ tracked companies using internal tools and external sources to monitor market movements.

• Own and analyze the product funnel from activation through retention, identifying drop-off points, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Support pricing and packaging decisions by extracting, analyzing, and synthesizing product and usage data to inform tier structures and feature gating.

• Investigate product incidents and unexpected behavior by diving into data quickly and forming root-cause hypotheses for the team.

What You’ll Need to Apply

• 3–5 years of experience in a data analyst, product analyst, working for fast-growing start-up or well-established tech company with heavy-data environment

• Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write queries from scratch and independently explore datasets.

• Bachelor or Master's Degree from top university, ideally within Tech. Fluent English ability

• Hands-on experience with product analytics tools such as PostHog, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar platforms.

• Experience partnering with product or growth teams, with a solid understanding of SaaS or developer-tool metrics.

• Strong analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to translate business questions into clear data analyses and communicate insights effectively.

• Bonus: experience in competitive intelligence, Python for data analysis, or working in early-stage startup environments.
