Business Analyst Lead (Fintech Industry)

About the BA Lead Role:

You will be a leader who is responsible for coaching and mentoring BA professionals and building relationships with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing leadership in technical BA practices and mind-set to all business analyst and senior roles
• Leading BA for one multi-country product including structuring the workload for the BAs within the value stream
• Coaching and mentoring 3-6 BA team members
• Designing, rolling out and embedding the BA processes, practices and documentation related to Agile delivery
• Completing project work stream deliverables including quality control/sign off for area of accountability
• Converting business needs into functional designs using knowledge of system capabilities, rules, and architecture
• Analysing and documenting business/functional processes and requirements using standard analysis methodologies and tools
• Identifying project delivery issues and risks, assist with mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary
• Working closely with stakeholders and identify impacts to business processes as a result of system or application changes
• Supporting and taking part in unit testing, BA testing and system testing
• Supporting teams for functionality released into production.
• Prioritising work and deliverables according to specified time frames

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English

Key Requirements:

• Having passion about working in a fast-moving fintech company, or related industry
• Having five years experience in a BA role, preferably within a financial industry
• Having two years of business process improvement experience
• Possessing people management and leadership skills, including staff mentoring, workload management, and growing practice of professionals
• Having experience in software and solution delivery life-cycle
• Be familiar with technology-enable projects
• Having knowledge of BABOK® knowledge areas
• Can communicate English fluently
