Java Engineer (Manufacturing Company)

A prominent manufacturing company located in the southern region of Vietnam is looking for a Java Engineer

About the Java Engineer Role:

The Java Engineer oversees the IT function, supporting operations in China, and Vietnam. The role involves developing the NAV ERP, maintaining various Java systems, monitoring web servers and databases, and serving as a helpdesk for existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• The job role involves the daily maintenance of various existing Java systems, such as the warehouse management system, HTA workshop MES system, and HR attendance system. The candidate will also be responsible for monitoring the web server and database systems in the background. In addition, you should have the ability to develop new functions and debug the interface software between our local system and ERP system

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• The candidate should be willing to work in China over 50% of the time and open to travelling and remotely supporting other Asian operations in China and Vietnam
  The ideal candidate should have a degree in computer science or relevant majors, two to three years of Java program development experience, ERP system support experience, and a background in manufacturing
• You should also possess competencies and skills in various technologies and frameworks, including JSP, Servlet, Html, XML, jQuery, CSS, Struts, Hibernate, Spring, EASYUI, Android platform, SQL language, SQL Server, MySQL databases, Eclipse development IDE tool, and configuring and debugging Apache Tomcat and IIS web app server.
• Fluent English proficiency is also required
