About the Senior Devops/Cloud Engineer Role:

In this role, you will be designing and deploying dynamically scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant, and reliable applications on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Selecting appropriate AWS services to design and deploy an application based on given requirements
• Using AWS migration tools to migrate applications and workloads to AWS
• Applying and embedding AWS best practices and migration methodologies during the service delivery
• Be able to support cost optimisation through application of cost-control strategies, re-architect or modernization
• Be able to evaluate cloud application requirements and make architectural recommendations for implementation, deployment, and provisioning applications on AWS
• Supporting Client Success throughout the sales activities including presentations, proposal build, demo, POC workshops, bidding material preparation and technical materials to convince customers using our services or products
• Coordinating and aligning with partner team and AWS in opportunity generation activities
• Achieving mandatory certificates as agreed and aligned with company core competency plan
• Attending the mandatory training programs for personal skill development.

To succeed in this role, you must have at least five years intensively with AWS services.

Key Requirements:

• Proficient in AWS services such as AWS EC2, AWS RDS, networking services (VPC, Transit Gateway, VPC Endpoint), security services (IAM, AWS Network Firewall, WAF, security group)
• Hands-on in Linux/Unix environments
• Having basic Knowledge of containerization and microservices (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Having DevOps capabilities by using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
• Proficient explaining and applying the five pillars of the AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Having capabilities to design a scalable, high available and fault tolerant architecture using key AWS technologies
• Familiar with Agile methodology
• Good problem solving, communication and presentation
