What you'll do:
As a Dev Ops Leader, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our client's technical operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve working closely with development team members to create an efficient build system for enterprise-level software. You'll also be tasked with creating a continuous release strategy, ensuring products are deployed seamlessly to customers. Your expertise will be vital in migrating product teams to Bitbucket and TeamCity CI while defining industry-leading practices. Furthermore, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of project software development by implementing tools and processes that standardise how it's developed, built, tested, and deployed.
- Develop an effective and efficient build system for enterprise Windows software and Microsoft cloud solutions
- Create a continuous release strategy and automate product deployment steps
- Provide technical solutions for DevOps application and implementation
- Migrate product teams to Bitbucket and TeamCity CI, defining best practices
- Standardise and automate project software development, building, testing, and deployment processes
- Assist with the design and development of resilient, secure, supportable, scalable systems
- Automate infrastructure deployments and rollbacks for all developed work assuming responsibility for process support
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Dev Ops Leader role brings a wealth of experience from the software industry. With at least 8 years under your belt, including 6 years in a DevOps Engineer position, you're well-versed in the principles of DevOps. Your familiarity with Azure cloud is complemented by your experience with CI/CD pipeline Azure Devops Pipeline, ARM, Team City, CodePipeline. You're comfortable working with a range of databases and have hands-on experience with Powershell Script, Azure CLI and Infrastructure As Code (BiCep, Terraform). Your solid knowledge of using Git flow will be invaluable in this role.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 8+ years experience in the software industry with 6+ years strong experience in a DevOps Engineer position
- 2+ years in a management position
- 2+ years experience with Azure cloud
- Understanding and experience of DevOps principles
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline Azure Devops Pipeline, ARM, Team City, CodePipeline
- Experience with databases: MySQL/ MS SQL, MongoDB, Postgresql etc.
- Familiarity with Powershell Script, Azure CLI and Infrastructure As Code (BiCep, Terraform)
- Solid knowledge of using Git flow
