An exciting Manual QA Engineer job has arisen in a leading technology leader in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.
About The Manual QA Engineer Role:
Your main responsibility will be to maintain the scalability, security, and performance of our backend services. Collaborating closely with various teams, such as product owners, technical teams, QA, customer support, and customer relationship management, you will ensure the efficient operation of the application, delivering seamless user experiences and dependable system performance.
Key Responsibilities
Analyse requirements and design documents to enhance acceptance criteria
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., project and product managers) to identify system requirements and assess technical risks
Develop comprehensive and well-organised test plans and test cases
Identify, document, and manage bugs throughout the product life cycle
Conduct thorough regression testing after bug resolution
Monitor and evaluate the results of the debugging process
Investigate the root causes of software non-conformance
Track quality assurance metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts
To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.
Key Requirements:
Minimum two years of experience as a QA/QC/Tester, specializing in manual testing for web-based and mobile applications (iOS/Android)
Proficient in API testing using tools like Postman
Familiarity with software development tools such as Jira for efficient project management
Knowledgeable about Scrum development methodologies commonly used in Agile environments
Skilled in creating comprehensive test plans and test cases based on specifications or verbal communication
Excellent English communication skills (TOEIC equivalent of 600) in both written and spoken forms
Strong attention to detail and meticulousness in testing processes
Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, enabling effective collaboration within cross-functional teams
Previous experience working closely with developers, project managers, and product owners in cross-functional squads
Familiarity with performance and/or security testing
Proficiency in using automated testing tools
Knowledge or experience in software engineering principles
